The surface of the town of Oroslavje is 32 km2 and the town extends its borders to the settlements Andraševac, Krušljevo selo, Mokrice, Slatina and Gornje Oroslavje. It is positioned on the crossroad of the main traffic routes – West Europe, Zagreb, Adriatic and Slavonija and such connections give the town of Oroslavje numerous possibilities for economic, agricultural, tourism and cultural development.

The town of Oroslavje has one kindergarten, one elementary school and one secondary school with educational programs: general program, computer technician for engineering, car mechanic, turner, locksmith, natural gas installer, plumber, hairdresser, cosmetician, carpenter, car tin man.
