Transport
Roads
The Region is positioned on the main European corridors Xa to Macelj (Slovenia) and corridor Vb to Varaždin. Through the Krapina – Zagorje County goes the most significant road rout lieing on transversal corridor north – south – highway A2 – international route E-59 (Phyrn highway) Nürnberg–Linz–Graz–Macelj–Zagreb– Split. Other national corridors connecting to this route make connections with Varaždin and Zagreb County and Slovenia.
Bjelovar - Bilogora County is connected to other parts of Coratia and neighbouring countries through parallel POdravina and Posavina route connecting Zagreb- Bjelovar- Daruvar- Pakrac and Vrbovec- Čazma- Garešnica- Pakrac.
Through Koprivnica – Križevci County goes the Podravina highway connecting Varaždin and Osijek, and a motorway Zagreb – koprivnica is under construction.
Railroads
Green Croatia Region represents one of the main rail road junctions of northwest Croatia combining main railroads that intersect Koprivnica – Križevci County, Bjelovar – Bilogora and Krapina – Zagorje County.
The railroad connecting central Europe with Adriatic goes through the political centreof Koprivnica – Križevci County – route Budapest – Koprivnica – Zagreb – Rijeka. Railroad connecting Western Europe with the Balkans and Eastern Europe – route Slovenia – Čakovec – Varaždin – Koprivnica – Virovitica – Osijek – Vojvodina also intersects the Region.
The nearest airport for cargo and passenger transport is Pleso – Zagreb.
